Julie Pradier (b. 1982) is a visual artist based in France, working with photography, film and installation.

She works on landscape and portrait, with a certain interest for artificial and illusionist devices, images that combine reality and mirage, familiar and uncanny. Her installations explore the specifics of the photographic medium and its latent quality, inviting the viewer to witness the appearance of the image.

Graduated from École Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, Julie Pradier presents her first solo show in 2010 in Berlin at Enblanco gallery. Her work has been recently presented at Monat der Fotografie in Berlin (2016), Mois off de la Photographie in Paris (2017), in Abbatiale St-Ouen in Rouen (2017), Musée du Secq des Tournelles, Musée de la céramique in Rouen, Abbaye aux Dames in Caen (2018), CAC L’Académie / Le SHED, in Maromme (2019), Théâtre le Passage in Fécamp (2023), Abbaye de Jumièges (2023).
